Meet the Artist

My work tends to focus on human forms, nature, everyday interactions and occasionally some abstracts.  I like to enhance the beauty of everyday reality by creating and painting with vivid and bright colors. You will see that my paintings and drawings are not necessarily photo realistic representations, but they also are not exactly caricatures - I like to refer to my art as "Abstract realism".  The images I choose to paint, draw or photograph are based on whatever I see that encourages a feeling or thought for me. My goal is to create pieces that will also evoke different emotions for the viewer.
